Privacy policy

Data you give us

• Account data. If you create an account or sign in with Google, we store your email address and, optionally, a display name.
• Saved careers and quiz results. Stored against your account so you can return to them.
• Subscription data. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — only the subscription status, plan, renewal date and invoice references needed to give you access and show your receipts.
• CV text (Premium Ultra). If you use the AI-Proof CV Coach, the text you upload and the conversation are stored against your account and sent to our AI provider to generate the analysis. You can delete a session at any time.
• Messages and lead forms. The name, email and message you submit through our contact or training-interest forms.

Data collected automatically

We record anonymous usage events — the page viewed, which career was opened, which button was clicked — to understand what people find useful. These events are not linked to your name or email. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies that are necessary for signing in and remembering your preferences, such as light or dark mode. This site also shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and in some regions to personalise them. You can review and change your ad settings at adssettings.google.com, and manage cookies in your browser at any time. Subscribers with an active Premium plan are not served ads.

Service providers

We share only what is needed with the companies that run parts of this service: our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and advertising, and our AI provider for the CV Coach. Course and certification links may be affiliate links; see our advertising disclosure.

Your choices

You can ask us to export or delete your account data, cancel a subscription from your account page, and unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email. To make a request, use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, for account holders, note the change in the app.
